Intl.Triafa.com, Jakarta  - the Italian national team will be met Sweden in the match play-off qualifying phase of the 2018 World Cup European zone. Italian first will play the away game against Sweden in the first leg.

Italian national team manager who was present at the drawing in Zurich, on Tuesday (16/10) afternoon local time, Gabriele Oriali, said that Sweden is not an easy opponent for Italy. Oriali represent Italy replaces Azzurri coach, Giampiero Ventura, who missed the draw. 

"Fate brought us together with Sweden. Should be better again, but we accept it. We are Italian and have a tradition. We are optimistic despite tough opponent, "said Oriali told  Sky Sports .


For Oriali, Sweden is not opposed to indiscriminate. They can go through the play-off phase after being in a tough group with France and the Netherlands. The squad even amaze since got rid of the Netherlands.
